About Me

I first began selling real estate right after graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in marketing. Ever since that first year of work in the San Diego area, I’ve loved this profession because of the freedom and challenge it offers me. Helping other people pursue and realize their own dreams is the driving force behind it all. 

To this day I still enjoy watching sellers hand the keys over to the buyers.  It never loses its appeal, regardless of which side of the transaction I represent. I love navigating my clients through the sometimes murky waters of the home buying and selling process.  My goal is to make the process of buying or selling as simple for my clients as possible no matter if they are upsizing, downsizing, buying or relocating out of the area.

“ When it was time to sell my house I did not know where to start, especially since I did not live in the area. I knew there was a local neighborhood email that many people have used to post lost dogs, curb alerts, ask for repairmen recommendations etc... My house needed some handyman work before I could sell. So, I used that email address to ask for recommendations for a handyman and a realtor. I received lots of responses for a realtor. Several realtors were recommended. Laurel's husband wrote me telling me about his wife, then Laurel wrote me. I decided to interview Laurel. She showed up with a contractor she uses. As I'm showing them around the house and telling them what I want repaired, they are making notes and suggestions. When we finished talking about that, the contractor left Laurel and I to talk about what she would do to sell the house. I liked that she brought the contractor with her and after talking to her I felt very comfortable with her. She said she knew people that would help me get the house cleared out and ready to sell besides the repairs. My house officially went on the market late in the afternoon. It generated a lot of attention and agents were going online to request appointments to show it. The next day a couple came by to see it at 9:00AM. By noon we had a contract. I was happy with the price and no clauses. I felt Laurel was extremely confident and I relied on her expert opinion and knowledge. When she was unsure of something, she didn't hesitate to talk to her broker and lawyer for clarification. I liked knowing she had someone to go to for information. I believe the settlement went very smoothly due to the fact that Laurel was very vigilant in getting papers and documents prepared beforehand. The house was in a Trust and was part of an estate sale. Every one of these adjectives is Laurel. Her communication skills were wonderful. She made sure I understood what might happen, what will happen and what did happen! She was always approachable and I could ask her anything. When I texted her she always responded immediately. She was very knowledgeable in so many ways. Before I could put the house on the market I had to clean the house out. She knew who could call to come take things away. She knew who I could contact to help me sort and pack the house. She knew who to talk to when she had questions about the sale of an estate house. I did not have the need to talk to anyone other than Laurel at C21 I felt Laurel had my best interest at heart and not the commission she would earn. She made a difficult job so much easier for me. I had strong attachments to the house. My parents bought it in 1963 and I grew up there going to Little Run, Robert Frost and Woodson. She helped me tremendously. ”
